About Ryan Schmidt
Hailing from the small city of Massillon, Ohio, home of a football team and just under two movie cinemas, I have a few tricks up my sleeve. Self taught graphic designer, developer and marketing machine, I'm working hard to become a jack of many trades.
I design and develop clean, useable websites with valid XHTML and CSS. I enhance and enrich the user’s experience with clean creative design along with easy to follow page structure and workflow.
I have great control over XHTML, CSS and Photoshop and a strong foundation in both PHP and Javascript. I am a proud fan of Drupal and see no reason not to use it for any site requiring a CMS.
Designing since I can remember, art has come naturally for me. I am able to visualize how a concept should look and feel to the user and then quickly portray that to the client for feedback.

Designed to offer my client a portal for selling subscriptions to his financial newsletter, this site is as unique as it's content structure. I created this site from the ground up including logo, layout and basic concept.

Used daily by dealers and Realtors all over the world, this website needed to be very easy to navigate and very "to the point". Most of the magic happens once you're logged into the site.

interesting aftermath
I wanted to see what all the hype was about with myspace themeing so I dove into the horribly organized CSS and had a little fun. As you can see from the page, I don't think I've logged in to the site in forever.

STORM THE ARMADA
Some friends started a band so I wanted to help out in any way I could. I designed this myspace layout along with a t-shirt and some other odd's and end's. I used the cartoon idea as a catchy marketing tool and it caught on pretty quickly.
