About Ryan Schmidt

As a self taught graphic designer, developer and marketing machine, I'm working hard to become a jack of many trades.

I have over 5 years of experience in business management, design, development and advertising so I'm well versed in all the major fields involved in a successful web presence. My background in sales and marketing is an invaluable tool I use to implement these strategies into easy-to-use web applications. Creating a product that sells itself is my goal for each project.

I'm truly passionate about taking business ideas from notebook paper to working product with capabilities covering the entire spectrum: from business plan to development.

I design and develop clean, useable websites from scratch using valid XHTML and CSS. Using clean, creative design, I enhance and enrich the user’s experience with easy to follow page structure and workflow. I have great control over XHTML, CSS and Photoshop and a strong foundation in both PHP and Javascript.

Be sure to check out my work and feel free to contact me with questions or just follow me on Twitter for a good laugh.

Since conception in 2008, The DL has evolved into an industry powerhouse boasting subscribers from all over the globe. I built a powerful subscription engine that is the life blood of the company's revenue. I created this site from the ground up including logo, markup/design and all backend development.

Some friends started a band so I wanted to help out in any way I could. I designed this myspace layout along with a t-shirt and some other odd's and end's. I used the cartoon idea as a catchy marketing tool and it caught on pretty quickly.
